TPX features a number of activities within each event. Select as many as interest you in your profile when you apply for an event.
Chain Gang
As An Imate
As an inmate on chain gang you’ll have to bring a set of work boots with you to the event. TPX maintains a limited inventory of boots, but it’s best to bring your own. You’ll be issued a work uniform which you’ll change into from your regular inmate uniform. You’ll be searched, then locked to the chain. You’ll complete group labor on the prison yard that actually needs doing, and you’ll be supervised by a team of guards. When work is over, you’ll be searched on your way back into the block and changed back into your inmate uniform.
As A Guard
Guards supervising chain gang are responsible to make sure that the group works safely, and will act if issues arise. Inmates sometimes fight, manage to flee, conceal contraband, and other mischief. It’s your job to make sure that work continues smoothly and contraband doesn’t come back into the block.
Block Cleaning
As An Inmate
Prisons get dirty. Inmates need to prove that they’re responsible and viable members of society. Problem solved. Brooms, mops, and whatever else is needed to keep the place up will be issued and you’ll be expected to clean.
As A Guard
You’ll issue the inmates on cleaning crew their equipment, but let’s be honest: A broom makes a pretty decent weapon. Make sure that the inmates stay on task and don’t get into any mischief. Don’t like what you see? Handle it.
Kitchen Crew
As An Inmate
You’ll work in the kitchen and help prepare meals for the entire event. This is generally a rotating crew working under our chef, supervised by a team of guards. While this is still a part of role play, this is a somewhat more serious assignment, requiring sanitary and safe handling of food and kitchenware.
As A Guard
You’ll assist the chef by making sure that his assignments to the inmates get safely carried out.
Laundry Room
As An Inmate
You’ll be tasked with washing loads of uniforms, sheets and towels so that the event can continue on our limited supply of linens.
As A Guard
You’ll keep the inmates working to make sure that the laundry actually gets done, and this isn’t just some session of grab ass and laziness.
